DEDICATED STAFF<\/span><\/h2>\n

Camp Sternberg\u00a0carefully selects our staff for their commitment to working with children.\u00a0 Staff members attend a\u00a0thorough orientation, which emphasizes\u00a0the\u00a0critical functions that each of them play , the mission of the camp,\u00a0and gives them the tools for ensuring the physical and\u00a0emotional safety and well being of our campers. \u00a0Our staff forms a strong, committed team with a single focus: a safe summer filled with fun, learning, and growth opportunities for each camper.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nearly 90% of our counselors began as campers and grew up at Sternberg. Many stay on through their seminary\u00a0years returning each summer to become experienced and valuable staff members. \u00a0They know every phase of camp life from personal experience. \u00a0The one comment we hear most often from a parent is, \u201cYour staff really care about their campers.\u201d They do, and it is one of the principal reasons why Sternberg\u00a0is so special.<\/span><\/p>\n
