Breakfasts include cereal,\u00a0 pancakes, waffles, eggs, oatmeal, hash browns, and bagels etc.<br \/>\n-Lunch is served daily at 1:00 pm. Our lunch menus include\u00a0 grilled cheese, fish sticks, pizza, falafel, tacos, pastas, dairy sandwiches, french fries, soups, salad etc.<br \/>\n-Dinner is served at 6:30 pm. Our dinner menu includes meatballs and spaghetti, schwarma, schnitzel, sesame chicken, pepper steak, etc. Every other week, our campers enjoy\u00a0a\u00a0camp-wide BBQ.<\/p>\n<p>At every\u00a0meal we offer choices which help to meet the needs of\u00a0campers with specific allergies.\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0In addition, if your child has allergies and would like to bring up specific food items, please send an email to our camp office, <\/span><a href=\"mailto:info@shmacamps.com\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">info@shmacamps.com<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, so that we can try our best to accommodate your child.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n<h2>CANTEEN<\/h2>\n<p>Canteen is an exciting part of camp. All\u00a0of our camper\u00a0enjoy their daily time at the SHMAKOLET, the Sternberg Canteen.\u00a0 \u00a0Each camper has an account that parents can fund to enable campers to buy items in the canteen. The suggested amount is $75 to $100 per trip which can be used for canteen. Prior to camp, checks made payable to Camp Sternberg can be mailed to PO Box 415 Woodmere, N.Y. 11598. (We do not accept credit cards.) Alternatively, you can fund your canteen account with an e-check by logging into your campminder account, go to &#8220;View Accounts&#8221; and select Fund. \u00a0Feel free to call our office if you need assistance. \u00a0We are happy to help! \u00a0Extra money left in canteen will be forwarded as a credit towards next summer. If you wish to receive a refund, please email a request to <a href=\"mailto:info@shmacamps.com\">info@shmacamps.com<\/a> and we will issue a refund check.<\/p>\n<h5><b>PLEASE NOTE: Canteen money can NOT be withdrawn and used for trips.\u00a0 Trip money should be sent up in an envelope with the camper\u2019s name marked \u201ctrip money\u201d and will be kept in the camp safe.<\/b><\/h5>\n<h2>BRINGING FOOD TO CAMP<\/h2>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Non- Older Pioneers Camper &amp; Staff<br \/>\n<\/span><\/b><b><\/b><b>Each non-pioneer camper will be permitted to bring one 4 gallon\/16 quart clear bin with snacks. No other food containers will be permitted in the bunk houses.\u00a0 Larger sized bins, which hold inordinate amounts of food, clog the bunk houses, making it nearly impossible for campers and their staff to keep the bunks clean.\u00a0 Any other food bins brought to camp will be confiscated and the food will be shared with the entire bunk the first week of camp during shabbos party.\u00a0 A link to purchase this size bin is below <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.target.com\/p\/16qt-clear-storage-box-with-lid-white-room-essentials-8482\/-\/A-80162140#lnk=sametab\"><b>https:\/\/www.target.com\/p\/16qt-clear-storage-box-with-lid-white-room-essentials-8482\/-\/A-80162140#lnk=sametab<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Older Pioneers Camper &amp; Staff<br \/>\n<\/span><\/b><b>There will be <\/b><b>NO FOOD<\/b><b> allowed into Pioneers other than the food provided by camp. Camp will provide weekly shabbos parties for each bunk.<\/b><b>\u00a0 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your daughter should not bring any food to camp,\u00a0 even in closed containers.
