Welcome to Camp Sternberg, Camp Anna Heller, Camp Avraham Chaim Heller, and Camp Mogen Avraham, the SHMA family of camps.
SHMA, the quintessential tefilah of Klal Yisroel, means to listen. This coming season, be”H, will be our 50th year of listening to the needs of nearly 100,000 children and helping them grow. Fundamentally, we believe that our children should have the opportunity to explore their individual and unique kochos in a healthy, and positive, Torah atmosphere. We are constantly striving to improve the camping experience through upgrading our facilities and programs. SHMA camps are safe, fun and an exciting place for an extraordinary summer that your child will never forget. We look forward to meeting you and your children and welcoming you to the SHMA family.

Major Upgrades to Our Facilities: Newly paved roads, all renovated and freshly painted bunks, expanded waterfront with new kayaks, water trampoline, lake water slide, paddle boats, new pool water slide, state of the art basketball and volleyball courts, newly lined and marked football fields, expanded canteen with arcade foozeball, air hockey, dome hockey, and much, much more. Camper On-Line Registration: We are pleased to offer on-line registration for campers. For your added convenience we have streamlined the registration process. If you are a returning camper, a lot of your prior information will be in our system, making the process quicker, easier, and hassle-free (paper registration remains $50 per camper, per trip). All Inclusive Tuition: Unlike most camps, we have an all inclusive tuition policy. There are no additional fees for transportation (buses are available from Queens, Five Towns, Passaic, Brooklyn, and Monsey), luggage, laundry service, trips, and all staff tips. We do suggest a small camper account to cover spending money for trips and canteen and camp apparel.
Sibling Discounts:We want to do everything possible to enable all of your children to come to camp! We are therefore offering $100 discounts for each sibling.
