This summer promises to be the best ever at The SHMA Camps.  We see every year how camp changes lives and help create lifetime friendships. Every year we add new programming so that even more people can experience the SHMA Camps magic.Our goal is to ensure that your child has the best and safest summer experience in both ruchnius and gashmius.

First, we are thrilled to announce that Jewish music legend Eitan Katz will be joining the SHMA Kollel to uplift ALL of the SHMA Camps with his music and ruach for the entire summer!

New for this Summer at Camp Sternberg:

  • New 180 foot MEGA-splashdown water slide for our pristine lake
  • Professional-grade sports lighting for our new state-of-the-art basketball courts.
  • Complete renovations on every single Younger Pioneer bunkhouse (that’s over 30 totally renovated bunkhouses!)
  • Brand new bathroom and shower house with private changing rooms for Older Pioneers.

New For this Summer at Camp Avraham Chaim Heller:

  • Professional stadium-grade sports lighting for our MEGA 5-acre basketball and hockey sports complex, football fields and volleyball courts (extending our “King of the Catskills” sporting programs well into the night!)
  • New Sand Volleyball Court with professional Side-Out Netting
  • Professional NCAA football goalposts
  • Unbelievable 4 acre paintball forest with bunkers, traps, a landmine field, and speedball field
  • Completely renovated junior division bunkhouses
  • ACH Masmidim program has been expanded  under the leadership of Rabbi Ezra Dworetzky and Rabbi Hillel Pfeiffer, to include boys coming out of 10th -12th grades!

New for this Summer at Camp Mogen Avraham:

  • Stadium-grade sports lighting for our new 5 Acre MEGA Sports Complex
  • Brand new 240ft MEGA splashdown water slide for our beautiful lake
  • Unbelievable 4 acre paintball forest with bunkers, traps, a landmine field, and speedball field
  • Completely renovated junior division bunkhouses
  • New Marom division shul
  • Mogen Av’s own Masmidim program under the leadership of Rabbi Elchonon Galbut now includes boys coming out of 10th – 11th grades with a weekly private retreat in Liberty, NY!

Post-Camp Weeklong Programs:

The fun doesn’t end with the conclusion of the second session of camp! Our amazing Torah learning program continues with an additional focus on specific sports and skills in our post-camp programs one-week programs for boy’s completing 5th – 12th grade from August 19th through the 23rd. First, entering its 3rd summer, the Jum-PSHAT program [to register click here] led by Rabbi Gary Beitler and his staff of coaches (which includes former NBA coaches!) and sports staff challenge and improve boys’ skills to the max both on the court and in the Bais Medrash. This summer, for the first time, Rabbi Beitler and his talented sports staff now offer the Blitz Flag Football program, [to register click here] which take boys’ football skills to the next level on our professionally-lined football fields, NCAA Goal Posts, and stadium lighting.

We have so many other improvements some which are so big and “top secret” that we cannot possibly compress them all into one short email. In short, this year promises to be our best ever!
